Which means I’m not allowed any more Pokémon from this route. I’ve got my first Pokémon! But it’s on Route 201. He’s literally standing in the way of my dreams. Professor Rowan doesn’t want me going in the long grass. I’m going to change the text speed to ‘fast’. I know there’s another Lance in the Pokéworld, but look, he doesn’t have the monopoly on names, alright? And I’m in Sinnoh. Pokémon is about living your dream, and it is my dream to be named Lance. Playing all three "easier" rules, since (a) it's my first time and (b) I'm definitely catching shinies.

So, I could get a Machop, but do I get it? But now it was a new mon time down the Jagged Pass, & hopefully the Machop I desperately need. Oh well, such is life, we all make mistakes. Something I needed to help with Flannery & Norman. So Linoone finished it off, & then I sent in Manectric to sweep the rest of the team, aided by a lucky crit Spark on Sharpedo, but the damage was done. Mightyena survived, & thinking I outsped for some reason, I clicked Magnitude again. A Super Potion on Archie's part gave an opportunity, but only a Magnitude 7. I try battering it with Magnitude & thought that I was outspeeding. Linoone lead out, & after being hit by the notorious Sand-Attack twice, I sent in Graveler. After dispatching the two lackeys, I confronted the pirate head & engaged in battle. There was Archie with the Meteorite trying to fulfil their evil deeds. Past familiar territory, before heading up the mountain. I hit Rustboro, heal up, & then make my way to the Rusturf Tunnel to get my Strength HM & make the route to Mt. So, after the Aqua/Magma scuffle, I come out the other side of the Falls & deal with the trainers on Route 115, with no wild Pokémon obtainable yet.
